  • Setalux D A 575 X

    Solubility / thinnability     Setalux D A 575 X can be thinned to a solids content

                                  of 40 % with ketones,esters, ether esters, toluene,

                                  xylene and solvent naphtha® 100. The storage
                                  stability of the respective solutions must be tested
                                  Only PU grade solvents (< 0.05 % water, free of other

                                  reactive impurities)should be used.


    Compatibility                 Generally speaking, Setalux D A 575 X is miscible

                                  with the Desmodur® and Setalux D A grades listed.

                                  However, the combinations must be tested for their
                                  compatibility. Setalux D A 575 X can be mixed with

                                  Desmodur N 75, N 3390 and Z 4470 and with Setalux

                                  D A 365 and A 450.


    Properties / Applications     Setalux D A 575 X is mainly used in combination with

                                  Desmodur® N 75 and N 3390 in the formulation of

                                  high-solids two-component polyurethane coatings.

                                  These are fast-drying and yield films which are

                                  highly flexible,lightfast and weather-stable.


    Storage                       When stored in sealed containers at temperatures

                                  not exceeding 30 °C, the product will remain

                                  stable for 12 months.
